The Emirates Group said on Tuesday that they are laying the groundwork for their next big growth phase with “a mammoth drive “to recruit the best minds and talent globally across 180 roles.

The Group that had to let go of employees during the pandemic is currently hiring more than 102,000 employees, after hiring 17,160 people in various roles throughout the year. In 2020, Emirates Group have ended the contracts of around 30,000 employees of diverse roles due to the economic shut down that took place globally.

However, as the demand for traveling has increased and with the Group expecting new fleet, the company is organising recruitment events across 6 continents.

“In the last financial year, we received around 2.7 million applications globally for roles across the organisation,” said Oliver Grohmann, Senior Vice President Human Resources at the Emirates Group.

“We are using the latest technologies, such as digital assessments, artificial intelligence and other top-notch recruitment systems to shortlist, select and respond to candidates in the most efficient and effective ways,” explained Grohmann.

Currently the Group is expecting the new fleet of Airbus A350s and Boeing 777-Xs as they view 2024, “a buoyant travel market and an optimistic outlook overall.”

Emirates Group has recently released its 2022-23 Annual Report, showing its most profitable year ever due to the increase in demand across its businesses. The report has shown that the Group was able to turnaround from the losses of the previous year.
