Experience Coaching initiative to offer professional coaching to delegate at the HRSE event
Dubai – International Coach Federation (ICF) UAE Chapter, the global gold standard for coaching, is to offer delegates on-stand professional coaching for the first time at the HR Summit & Expo 2019.
“As the only officially licensed association in the UAE and the biggest globally, this is a wonderful opportunity for us at the ICF to do live demonstrations of the highest international standards of coaching.” Explains Nehad Tadros, President and MCC credentialed coach. “We will have our credentialed coach Members deliver coaching experiences throughout all three days of the event.”
ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Establishing coaching cultures within organisations is becoming a key trend in human resources and learning and development. In recent research, ICF and Human Capital Institute (HCI), found a coaching culture to be associated with high performing organisations, in particular, with effective leadership and team skills as well as successful change adoption.
Coaching is one of the world’s fastest growing vocations, after IT. As part of the world’s largest association, ICF Members must abide by the associations core competencies and ethical standards. In addition, credentialed coaches are assessed on three tiers related to their experience and training, and must regularly maintain their status with continuing education.
To become a Member of ICF, applicants must have completed rigorous training offered by ICF accredited courses, of which there are sixteen training schools delivering these in the UAE.
ICF UAE Chapter is the largest in the MENA and prides itself on supporting its Members with local events, development initiatives and mentoring. The Chapter also runs initiatives and outreach programs to support the local community as well as raise awareness and recognition of professional coaching within the business community.
