The Digital Nomad – the Future of Remote Working
The term “digital nomad” was new until February 2020. For the last weeks, most of the GCC workforce is remote working. This is going across industries and functions that didn’t consider the remote options before.
You undoubtedly will find many different definitions. So, what does digital nomad mean?
- Companies are enabling remote work to keep business running while helping employees follow social distancing guidelines.
- A typical company saves about $11,000 per remote half-time worker per year, according to Global Workplace Analytics.
- As companies adapt to their remote work structures, the coronavirus pandemic is having a lasting impact on how work is conducted.
