Emirati Youth express their aspirations and expectations of the future job market

The results from the survey conducted at the Emirati Youth Forum confirmed many of the current Emiratisation trends. The forum which included over 100 Emirati university students from across the UAE revealed that up to 67% of young Emiratis believe it is challenging to work for the private sector. One of the reasons this is challenging is the fact that sometimes private companies cannot compete with the packages offered of the public sector. The survey findings also demonstrated the high expectations of these students who were expecting over AED 20,000 as starting salaries after graduation. This gap between the private and the public sector remains the biggest challenge for Emiratisation. Find out more from the findings of the survey conducted at the Forum.
