The ATD Middle East Conference will take place 13-14 June 2023 with an aim to provide insights and best practices within the field of human resources.

The Association for Talent Development (ATD), the world’s largest professional membership organisation, is hosting ATD Middle East Conference, in collaboration with Informa Connect and with the support of the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB).

The ATD Middle East Conference will take place 13-14 June 2023 with an aim to provide insights and best practices within the field of human resources.

“As a destination that boasts a flourishing startup and business community, advanced machine-learning research facilities, and world-class educational institutions like the Khalifa University of Science and Technology (KU) and the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), Abu Dhabi is an ideal host for this significant event for knowledge exchange,” said Mubarak Al Shamisi, Director of Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB) at DCT Abu Dhabi.

“People are the driving force behind innovation and progress, and therefore the most valuable asset to any organisation. Abu Dhabi have convened numerous events across different industry sectors to facilitate capabilities development, that contributed to shaping the future of talent development” added Al Shamsi.

The event’s organisers said it serves as a learning platform for those who are interested to share the best-case practices. They added that this year’s program will explore a diverse range of topics that support the region’s goal of becoming a leading global talent hub.

World-renowned business educator and coach Dr. Marshall Goldsmith will deliver a two-hour workshop on “Transform your Leadership to Transform your Business”.

“Leadership and talent development are cornerstones of business success and nowhere is this more evident than in the rapidly evolving Middle East region,” explained Goldsmith.

Attendees will be discussing topics related to upskilling and reskilling, adopting a comprehensive workforce management strategy, promoting Emiratisation and localisation, fostering leadership and innovation, harnessing AI for accelerated development, the event organisers said.

“By hosting the ATD Middle East Conference and Exhibition, we are committed to supporting learning and talent development professionals through an extensive speaker line-up of thought leaders from learning, business, and international employers,” said Tony Bingham, President and CEO of the Association for Talent Development (ATD).

“With more than 30 educational sessions, three ATD certificate programs, and many knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities, the conference will provide insights and best practices that attendees can quickly implement in their organisations,” added Bingham.
